ABOUT ME

I love molten brownies and eggs benedict, cobblestone streets and deserted beaches. I want to play more in deep snow. I like to think I have a good sense of humor and wit, and I much prefer asking questions than answering them, though I can go on about history and politics if anyone's interested.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love seeing how people really live in a new place and have been lucky enough to be hosted by wonderful, friendly people. When I have a home base, I love to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed on the couches of friends and family, and slept on an air mattress for years before graduating to a futon. I appreciate being able to see into people's lives by seeing where they live, and becoming a part of the daily routine and groove.

Ahh, too tough to say! But I love Wayne's World and Triplets of Bellevue. Classical, jazz, rock. So many books mean so much to me, I count characters as friends.

I hiked a part of the Great Wall of China, a spectacular construction and symbol and artifact, with beautiful mountain scenery. I also work in Antarctica.

I can share the inner-workings of the publishing world, much about music composition (courtesy of my husband), a love and skill for cooking, and willingness to try something you've always wanted to do. If you're passionate about something, I can't help but want to know more about it.
