ABOUT ME

I've always wanted to see the whole wide world--it's such a very big place full of such incredibly interesting things (most of which are very far away from my home on the prairie). I think that this site is such a wonderful idea, and I can't wait to be able to use it to be able to travel the world and to hopefully be able to help others who need a place to stay in their journeys.

PHILOSOPHY

People take many different paths seeking happiness--just because they are not on your path doesn't mean they've gotten lost.

I don't know who said that, but it's a rule I try to live by.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hope to be a surfer soon! As of now, I have a spare bed available, and hopefully I can participate in that regard.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did provide a spot to sleep in a pinch for some acquaintances from out of town--I think they were pleased with the accommodations, or at least I never heard otherwise!

Clearly, travel is a huge interest of mine. Others include reading, camping, hiking, music--the usual.

Films I like..you know, I'm more of a tv person than a film person--I like How I Met Your Mother, Coupling (the British version), House, Community, Game of Thrones, Leverage, and a bunch of others. Music would be in the Coldplay, Killers, cage the Elephant arena, and I like all sorts of books.

I have a lot to learn and a bit to share. If you want to learn the rules of the Spanish Subjunctive tense...don't ask me, because that's my least favorite part of Spanish.
