ABOUT ME

I am first and foremost a learner. I love exploring wherever I can and meeting new people. I am friendly, adventurous, and caring. I live passionately. I study biology and linguistics in the United States, but this semester, I am studying at the Universidad de Zaragoza as an exchange student to improve my Spanish. I love traveling, and I think that everyone that I've traveled with would agree that I am a fun travel companion!

PHILOSOPHY

As far as I'm concerned, there are only two important things: help others and be happy yourself!

I haven't couchsurfed through couchsurfing.org before, but I'm eager to try it and host others, too!

Interests

I love learning; I rarely find things or subjects that I am not interested in knowing more about. However, I am especially interested in biology (and nature), linguistics, hiking and enjoying the outdoors, poetry, and different cultures. I also enjoy drawing when I have time. Currently, I am learning Spanish, and I would love the chance to practice that, and I'd of course be happy to help you with English in return!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw a California condor at the Grand Canyon(there are only about 160 left in the world!)

I have been ziplining in the Mexican selva.

Last semester, I was a research assistant at my university and I got to help research Euchee, a fascinating language isolate spoken in Oklahoma.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am very interested in learning exchanges. I would be more than happy to practice English with you if you are interested in improving your English (free of course :) ) I would also love the opportunity to practice Spanish or French.
