Hi there, I'm Claire from China. I finished my university in 2014 July, majored in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. After 2-month working in Beijing as a teaching assistant, I started my gap year. First I went to Singapore to visit my friend and took a 10-day Vipassana Meditation course there, and then came to New Zealand for my working holiday. I served in Auckland Vipassana Center for another 10-day course, helped in a large kitchen and met a lot of amazing friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd love to know many kinds of new friends, from different backgrounds. Talking with the local people or the ones who have been here for a while is always the best way to know a new place. And I'd also love to introduce my country to you.
