ABOUT ME

am a talkative, interested, jolly gal who likes to listen to people's stories. Am into lives' narratives (ie i learn from people's experience!). have travelled a bit in europe, southern africa and northern america...only happy when i am visiting new places, meeting new poeple and learning from new cultures :)

PHILOSOPHY

Ubuntu- it is a south african philisophy (from the Bantu tribes: zulus, xhosas,swatis: muntu ngumuntu ngabantu...) that says that I AM BECAUSE YOU ARE. Basically, it promotes openness and tolerance towards the human kind.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

have had some couchsurfing experiences without even knowing it in Poland, Belgium, South Africa...and I loved it!

Writers: jack kerouac, bell hooks, steve biko, allen ginsberg....and so many other!
Movies: C'eravamo tanto amati, Barry Lindon, De l'autre coté, la Graine et le Mulet, 2 days in paris...in general italian and american movies (Kubrick, scorsese...)
Music: too many different artists (from manu chao to leonard cohen, freshly ground to nina simone!)

pretending i am a south african for four years to better blend in :)

well....i wished i could teach and share...but i am better at learning. The best I can do though is to tell stories!
