About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Not too much travelling in my life at the moment, but it's my mission to show everyone a great time and feed them even better. I'm always up for an adventure!

ABOUT ME

I'm a huge nerd. I'm not overbearing about it, but if you want to hang out and play board games or watch zombie movies after a busy day of exploring Chicago, all the better!

Lately life has gotten busier - I participate in a number of research projects downtown, I've just begun my doctoral program in behavior analysis, and depending on the time of year I'm often working as a teaching assistant or in library tech support. As such, I'm not at home during regular hours quite as much, but if you don't mind exploring the city during the day, my couch is yours at night!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm an existentialist and a behaviorist. Ask Me Why!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm more than eager to host people here. I dream of having the free time to do some couch hopping myself, so until then I can at least preemptively return the favor!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've just crashed the hell out of couches in Toronto. It's always been an absolute blast.

Music, Movies, and Books

American Psycho and others from the average guy gone mad genre.

Classic rock- Queen and David Bowie above all.

I read a bit of everything, as my bookshelves will attest. Lately it's been mostly text books ('fun' ones- Skinner and Baum all the way!) and a little indulgence on the side with fantasy or fluff fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

SCUBA diving in the cenotes of the Yucatan Peninsula was beyond compare. I can't even begin to describe it. Crossing the halocline alone was breathtaking, then add in the fossils, the bats, the fantastic rock formations... I recommend it even to beginning divers.

Countries I’ve Visited

Mexico, Netherlands Antilles

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, United States
