HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm embarking on a trip to North America, possibly Europe and most likely Asia too (if funds permit/i win lotto). I can't wait to be part of the many cogs that make up the CS supermachine.

Bit of a novice so far. My experiences don't really extend beyond the actual website *sigh*... but I intend for this to change

Listening to music (a lot). Good times. The consumption of alcohol (possibly related to good times) Good food. Photography. Exploration. Nature (i'm obsessed! well and truly obsessed). More food. Is this enough...

Musik, Filme und Bücher

In a perfect world I would have time for REAL books beyond ones that are on my "required reading list" for uni..aka Corporations Legislation 2010.
I did read Madame Bovary in the summer though. It's so good it will make you want to throw things. Dawkins is pretty good too. and David Attenborough's Autobio is a must for any self-professed nature fiend. aka Me.

Music?.. The list could go on forever, but I enjoy the sounds of ratatat, m.ward, phoenix, mgmt, cat stevens, feist, broken social scene, nina simone, andy bull, fleetwood mac, m83, beach house... um.. Beach House again.
Movies...anything with meryl. I don't discriminate (except Julie and Julia... what was she thinking?!)But I really like As It Is In Heaven, 21 Grams, Garden State, Little Children, Foreign Films, y tu mama tambien, Lost in Translation, Margot at the Wedding,
tv - never mind the buzz cocks, big love, 30 rock.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I'm a librarian at the parliamentary library (so its some pretty wild times - as you can imagine). Me = life of the party. And on my lunch break once I had the Australian Prime Minister steal my elevator and make me take the stairs.... It should be noted that this is a low point in my life. I promise.

I am a full time student enrolled at the CouchSurfing University. It's a (HUGE) school where everyone's a student and everyone's a teacher...hmm.. ponder ponder ponder.
