I'm Jonas, 29 year Old Student from Germany, At the moment I am about to finish the mandatory practical part of my law studies. My last station will be the German embassy in Accra, Ghana. Now i'll travel souzth America for a bit - startin in Chile mid of April, hopefully going up until Brazil and maybe even Mexico. So much to see on the way, I'm overwhlemed by the options already.
I’m really looking forward to the people and the food over there :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Surfing, hosting, meeting new People and get to know the taste of their city
(most important part about traveling might for me might even be tasting // eating different stuff - and remembering it later. It's a shame we're not able to take sth. like photos from tastes ). I'v met so many nice and hospitable people and sometimes had the chance to give sth. back to the community by hosting myself. It's always been a great experience to surf and host!

Interests

I'm interested in literature, politics, music and arts.
I love to cook and to eat in general - especially trying new things and getting out of my daily routine.
Regularly going to markets to buy fresh fruits and vegetables - and then prepare food for a bunch of friends. I think, that is quiet characteristic for me, that I love to organize small events with friends where you come together and enjoy the presence by sharing food, stories and drinks.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like different kinds ofMusic: everything that makes me want to dance - for Example: Funk, electronic music, indie and so on...

Reading: I love reading in general, especially (nearly) all books of Hermann Hesse - or, more contemporary, Juli Zeh. Also a big fan of Nietzsche.
I also like to read classic literature such as Shakespeare or Goethe.

Since my attention span is realy short sometimes, i haven't seen too many movies. Some of them i liked: City of God, Pulp Fiction, Lost Highway...
