Overview
About Me
I’m currently living in Paris, but I’m originally from the USA, and grew up in and around New York City.
I studied International Relations (development and economics) and I’m super passionate about politics and foreign policy. I’m actually going back for a business degree, but that’s a story for in person. I do a lot of reading and most of it is business and entrepreneurship oriented at the moment so if you want to chat about any of those things I’d be down.
The way my budget is set up, I’m the person who snags 7€ bus tickets to Spain and spends 100€ on tapas once I get there....
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’ve lived in Germany, France, and traveled through South East Asia. My friends would say I’m a very outgoing person, and I’m fairly open minded. I’ve loved away from home for almost 7 years now and love the backpacking and hostel culture and traveler vibe. I’ve made all of my best friends abroad at language exchanges, Erasmus parties, and expat socials. I figured it was time I tapped into the Couchsurfing community.
Interests
I love sunsets, hanging out in the park with a good book (and a bottle of wine), and exploring new cities. I will take any and all restaurant recommendations!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music? Everything from Frank Ocean to Frank Sinatra.
Movies? I’ve been known to quote the Princess Bride. Otherwise it’s probably action or comedy movies. I have too much empathy for romcoms and dramas, I cry and
Books? I like dystopian novels, but I’ll read anything with a good main character and a solid plot.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I just experienced the World Cup win in Paris, France and then spent a week celebrating in the south of France. I didn’t *personally* do anything amazing, but it was amazing to see France lose their collective minds over the course of one weekend.
Teach, Learn, Share
My dad trained as a chef and I picked up some handy tips I’d love to share. I speak some German and passable French, and will happily attempt to chat with you. Have any of you guys been to Mundo Lingo in your city :) ??
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook, and would be happy to prepare you several meals.
