Overview
About Me
I'm 18, I live in the south-west of France, in Bordeaux, and I'm currently studying languages (English-Italian) at University . I love travelling and knowing about new cultures -- that's also why I've chosen to do those studies. I'd love to be able to work in different countries and meet people with different perspectives of the world. I've been taking dance classes for about 7 years and I also have a lot of other different hobbies such as reading, going to the cinema to discover new movies, listening to music or going out. I think I may seem shy at first sight but I can be very cheerful, nice and funny as well !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Some of my friends have already used Couchsurfing to travel and they have all told me about how amazing it was. They have completely persuaded me into registering just by telling me about those stories they have lived in other countries thanks to this site. Now that I am 18 I want to travel more and more but I've come up to think that sometimes we tend not to meet too many people if we're just travelling, that's why this looks like it could be a great way to encounter even more people ! And finally, I actually love learning about new cultures and new personalities and I'd love to hear about your stories.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have huge difficulties answering this section because my taste in musics, films or books aren't limited to one genre at all... I'll just tell you about the things I like most but just know that I'm really open to every genre and I'm always open for new discoveries ! In musics, I have noticed I'm more and more listening to rock bands (30 seconds to Mars for exemple or Fall out boy). As for films, I love movies based on true stories, dramas, psychological thrillers (Shutter Island) but also romances. And as for books, I'd say I'm interested into the same genres that I've chosen for films, mostly.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The moment in my life that I think I'll always remember is the moment when I had met a friend I had met on internet because we had interests in common. She is Italian and it was almost 5 years ago, we had been talking for 2 years and we had finally met when I went in Sardegna with my family. We're still close friends now and meeting her made me realize how lucky I was to be able to travel and meet new people.
Another moment that I've loved was actually not too long ago (March 2018), when 5 people that I know or barely-knew (friends of friends) and I decided to go together to a concert in Paris (30 seconds to mars), we had so much fun ! It is still indescribable
Teach, Learn, Share
I still have a lot to learn myself but I'll try to make a small list of what I could teach you (eventually) :
- dancing
- cooking (some French food but I also love trying Italian recipes etc...)
- some basics of French, Spanish and Italian languages
What I Can Share with Hosts
The things I'd like to share with people I meet is a bit of my culture most probably, maybe even change your mind on some clichés you may have heard about French people, or the opposite, maybe it'll confirm you some things you already thought, who knows ! I'd love to make you taste some French food as well if I have the opportunity to do some cooking or bring you some things from France. I want to know about your culture as well by seeing it from my own eyes instead of just hearing about aspects of your lives that may or may not be true !
