My name is Clara, I am 26 years old and I come from the south of France. I will go to New Zealand for five month from january to end of may. I will be travelling the first two months, then I will be working in a winery in march and april for the harvest, and I will travel again in may until my flight back !
I already traveled a bit for work as well in other countries, but this will be my first time on my own. When travelling, I am trying to explore the country as much as I can and to do a lot of hikes. I like to meet people from other cultures and make new friends !
I am really excited to discover this amazing country and culture and meet new people !

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

This is my first experience on Couchsurfing. This is also kind of my first travel alone and I've heard lots of good things about Couchsurfing from my friends. I think this is a good way to meet new people and make connexions abroad. Traveling is not only about visiting beautiful landscapes, it is also sharing with the people living there to understand better the country and have friends all over the world !
I didn't have the possibility to host for now as I was studying and living in a flat share but I surely will when I will come back to France and have my own house !

I love Indie, pop and dub music and my favorite artists are Gizmo Varillas, Kandee, Angèle and twenty one pilots but I listen to a lot of different styles and bands ! I also love to go to concerts or festivals !
My favorite movies are Grease and La tulipe noire (an old french movie) and I like "easy" movies.
I love to read and the best last book I read is Fleur de Roche from Ilaria Tutti, which is very emotionate but amazingly written. I can read historical books, romances, fantasy....

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One of the best adventure I lived was a horse trip in Argentina. With a little group we traveled for 5 days on horses, across mountains and cactus desert. The landscapes were amazing and it was an immersion in our hosts culture, sleeping in little house in the middle of nowhere, eating local food and singing with a guitar around a fire. The immensity of the landcapes and the absence of civilization, made us focus on our thoughts, our horses and the few people sharing this experience. It created memories for life !

I would love to meet new people and talk about our cultures and hobbies. I am also a big fan of food so I would love to share some time in the kitchen to learn and teach some culinary specialties !
