About Me
Hi, I'm Clara, a super curious and open minded person from Munich.
I love to discover a lot of new things, be it in conversations, while observing what surrounds me or even subconsciously. I'm studying art education and I'm also involved in a lot of social and activist work.
At the beginning of the year I travelled to Morocco by bus and train, since then my curiosity and desire to experience and learn new things outside my hometown has only grown.
When I travel, I am a very uncomplicated and definitely quickly fascinated person, especially by unexpected, honest encounters, moments and impressions.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing to not only wander the streets in new places, but to get even more impressions, especially on a personal level. The opportunity to meet new people in such a way is not only exciting, but can also be incredibly inspiring.
(But we all know - couchsurfing isn’t tinder!)

Music, Movies, and Books
I am definitely a culture loving person, not only going to exibitions and concerts.
One of my main goals is to better understand people and societies ( especially their needs and longings) by experiencing and learning about their (sub)culture.
Maybe my new favourite song is in your playlist right now?
What I like:
Music: Manu Chau, Altin Gin, Parcels, Ahmed Ben Ali, La Femme
Film: The Wind will carry us (Abbas Kiarostami), The River (Emir Baigazin), Call me by your name (Luca Guadagnino)
Books: The Alchemist (Paulo Coelho), Benedict Wells, Sasha Marinna Salzmann, Radical Tenderness (Seyda Kurt)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In the beginning of this year I arrived in a new city in Morocco after hours of bus travel. It was the 8th of March and just after arriving in the 'medina' I was invited to a celebration at the cultural centre for International Women's Day. This experience and all the women there touched me so much. An unexpected and unforgettable moment.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Not only am I a super interested person to talk to for hours and have philosophical discussions with, we can also share fun facts about our culture and teach each other random words.
But anyway, I will always offer to help with cooking and cleaning.
