About Me
Hello there fellow couch surfers/hosts!
It is kind of difficult to give a fairly accurate description of myself, but I guess I'll give it a try. I am a French-german student, fairly curious and observant, and lead a laid-back and frugal lifestyle with the occasional weekend spent partying and the occasional stress that comes with being a student. Some of my favourite activities include urbanex, a bit of cycling and climbing, and just generally having fun.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have traveled since I was small and now I seek to discover a new, more personal way to explore unknown cities by getting to know its residents and of course hope to gather a lot of amazing experiences! I love discovering other cultures, the food, the sense of community, the way people talk and more is all a part of it in my eyes. Sometimes I am surprised to how close in proximity these different worlds can be!
Unfortunately I can not host at the moment, but I sure will return the favor to the community as soon as I can!
Interests
As said above, I love multiculturalism and discovering those unknown aspects of life, but I also have a great interest in art, especially cinema and documentaries. My creations vary greatly between video installations, light design and collage, mostly I treat the theme of communication and cultural and/or temporal barriers. Or just trippy lighting stuff. I work a bit with Arduino, if you like to meddle with that stuff.
Otherwise I am open to any discussion, be it political, social or banal!

Music, Movies, and Books
I do listen to practically anything as long as I like it, which means my repertoire assembles classical music to trap to rock and more. Though I do have some favorites among German music, either punk-rock (such as Die Ärzte) or rap, and I have tried getting into French rap but I have not quite gotten the hang of it yet.
Some of my favorite movies are The Grand Budapest Hotel, Animatrix, The Signal, Nightcrawler, Mad Max (the new one, sorry people!), The Iron Giant, Plein Soleil and its remake Talented Mister Ripley. If you have any recommendation please let me know!
(I got to admit though, I'm not an avid reader.)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most memorable moment in my life must have been sitting in a small elevated lookout at the beach in Italy and gazing out into the pitchblack darkness of the sea laid out in front of me. There was a bright full moon above and the sound of waves crashing on the beach in my ears, but the best thing was getting to share the moment with my best friend. Might not be the 'amazing thing' people expect, but it was hauntingly beautiful.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I honestly do not have that much to offer except my ability to make quiche and be good company. If you work during the day, I don't mind preparing a meal for when you come back! I'm not a culinary genius, but I'll do my best. Also, if you are planning to travel to Vienna or Paris anytime soon, I can give you great tips on how to travel these cities in a less "touristy" way, language lessons included ;)
