NEXT MISSION
After 3/4 year off university and instead working on farms, I will go back to Göttingen finishing my studies and going on with my life there including friends, dancing into the night, horse, cycling, gardening and finding out how agriculture can be made sustainable in the whole meaning :-)

ABOUT ME

Hey guys! I'm a calm and honest person from Germany. I like being outside in nature, take a walk, go to a bar or dancing in the evening or night. I also like cooking and baking, reading and playing the guitar. And I'm thinking a lot. My lifestyle is "green" and simple I would say.. I'm happy if I find regional, organic or/and fairtrade food and when I can watch the garlic and carrots in our garden growing, buying things second hand when I need something and I'm far away from doing a shopping trip to enjoy myself ;-)
Travelling is something I'm into, too.. like everyone here I guess!
My friends describe me as direct and honest and well, a lot of people describe me as being a bit crazy, but in a good way ;-)
I like to do things that aren't planned through, I like the feeling of freedom and not knowing where you're gonna be tomorrow.

Interests

I'm a child of nature. My hobbies are cooking/baking, for example I'm excited to grind grain on my own and bake bread with it ;) I'm really interested in agriculture and the big processes of our world like global change (climate, social, economic, ..).
I also read a lot, I play guitar sometimes, I go swimming (my father lives at a river) and I go out for walks in the forest or fields. Besides that, I love going out with friends, drinking, having fun,.. :-) (Pubs and live music are great) I also like boat sports like kayak and canoe and I'm into hiking.

I love the Ayla novels by Jean M. Auel. I guess they made me see the world with different eyes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few years ago, I was at a castle ruin on a mountain with my best friend. We crawled to a cliff and sit down there, around and below us was nothing but light grey fog. It was an impressive experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I lived nearly vegan for 5 years and then began to have a totally different connection to life and death by slauthering a goat and using every part of it which took three days.
If you have any questions about how this development is possible or only about veganism, eating meat...
I guess I can tell some things about what agriculture really is today (not a black white view)
My German is quite good, maybe I could help you to improve your german speaking and in exchange, you could teach me something of your own mother language?!
