About Me
I recently graduated college and am doing a massive job hunt. Things are slow during the holidays, so I figured now would be a prime time to feed my travel bug! When I travel, I like to pick up as much as we can about the culture and people's daily lives, so I feel like CS was invented for me!
During this trip, I hope to see lots of art, eat fabulous food, meet unique people, and share stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I discovered the Couchsurfing community while I was traveling through Argentina and Chile after a semester abroad in Buenos Aires. I met the most amazing people and found it to be a fun and exciting way to travel. I always like to get off the beaten path.
Interests
The outdoors: I love camping, hiking, running and biking.
The arts: my favorites are painting and drawing, but I am inclined towards anything artistic. I also love looking at art whether it is at a museum, on the streets, or even sifting through weird thrift-store art.
Languages: I love speaking in foreign languages and am looking for opportunities to practice.
Travel: whether it be international, a road trip with undefined destinations, or a stay-cation and the excitement of discovering something new in my own neighborhood.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a wide variety of music. My iTunes is a little embarrassing as it includes some pretty bad Hungarian rock, Latino pop, a bunch of oldies, and shameless radio pop music for road trips.
Shows: Shameless, Modern Family, Breaking Bad, Fawlty Towers, Game of Thrones, Jane the Virgin,
I am always open for more suggestions!
Some favorite books include Crime and Punishment, The Giving Tree, Still Alice, and Henriette Lacks.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I backpacked in Torres de Paine, Chile and carried all of my food and belongings for 8 days. Not sure I could do it again, but it was such a rewarding experience!!
Teach, Learn, Share
Now, more than ever, it is so important to share stories and to unite! I know that when I travel, I am unofficially representing my country, and I don't take that lightly. I know many people feel like many decisions made in their country don't represent their own views. I know I feel that way! But it will always be important to meet people in other countries for fellowship - to eat, talk, listen, learn. I love to cook dinner for my hosts and learn what their life is about! And of course, you won't have to press hard for me to share about mine.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good food and conversation. I love to cook I am eager to share stories, adventures and laughs.
