I don't like mass tourism and five star hotels with buffets every morning and night (even though free buffets are cool). I've also been biking trough Latin America last year so I know how much difference it makes in a trip to get to know locals. I like getting to know a place without my visit contributing to a change in infrastructure on the long term - especially in Berlin you're able to see how gentrification changes the social/cultural tissue of a city...
