About Me

Hey there I'm Clara. Born and raised in Berlin. I just started doing couchsurfing myself. Currently I'm still attending school but the end is near ;) I live with my family in the south-east of Berlin, in Friedrichshagen near a big lake (the Müggelsee). There is a lot of nature around and it does not take too long to get into the city center (something like 40min.)
I did lots of student exchanges in my school and spend one year in Italy in 2014/15 where I discovered my love for cultural exchanges.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first did couchsurfing with my sister in Sweden and it was an awesome experience. I really like the cultural exchange and seeing the differences and the similarity's of other countries and people. I also like practising the languages that i already speak and always learning new ones.

favorite band at the moment is Faber and Annenmaykantereit (two good German bands... check them out ;).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Ireland for three month and worked there on an organic farm building with COB and working in the gardens. Awesome experience really reawakend my nature-loving heart.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you German, English and Italian depending on what you like :)
In my year in Italy my host family tried to teach me some italian cooking and I picked up a bit. They were not really impressed by my cooking skills though so please don't expect to much. ;)
I'm always keen on at least learning a few words in a new language.
I also like learning new and easy recipes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I know a little about Berlins history, but quite a bit more about some good pubs around so if you are interested in that I'm happy to tell you what I know.
We can share our views on pop-culture or politics alike and show each other new things.
