I'm Clara, a French 25 years old recently landed in St Louis (MO), to join my american boyfriend. I studied and worked in urban planning and design, but I've also been a waitress, a camp counselor, a construction worker, and I hope to try many other jobs!
I got lucky and travelled a lot, studying in Czech Republic, sailing to Spain, working in the Caribean, living in Chicago, and now St. Louis! I'm still not spoiled tho, and I'm craving to explore and meet more places and people.

I'm positive, open-minded, curious, and I don't need much to be happy.

I think the best way to experience a new place is through its inhabitants! Who knows better than them the best things to do?! Couchsurfing is a great way to avoid main stream activities, tourist traps, and to discover the authentic local stuffs!

On the other hand, isn't it so exciting to welcome a random traveler from around the world and to show him the best face of your own city? The power to awake one's hidden chauvinism ;)

Favorite movies : Les Valseuses, Cuisine et dependance (French movies), Alien (just the first one tho), Matrix (same comment), and so many others!! I love Kubrick, Lynch, Copola, Wenders, Jarmuch, .......
