Last summer I lived in Italy as an au pair and met so many great people while traveling with friends I had made. My grandmother lives in Switzerland now and am so grateful to get to visit her this summer. I am going to be on my own to explore different cities because my grandma can't do long train rides anymore. I'm a very outgoing person but sometimes need a little push to break my shell. I enjoy doing things with others and seeing the world through someone else's perspective.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I thought about couch surfing last summer during my travels in Italy but I never got up the nerve. This time I'm ready to try! My sister right now is couch surfing her way around Morocco and has nothing but good things to say about the people she has met.

Interests

I love to read, I always have a new book started. Cooking is a hobby I picked up, I like feeding people. You can always find me outside, I love hiking!

Romance novels are my go to! I love most movies, I'm working on the horror films though. I enjoy many different genres of music, and am always open to listening to new kinds.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taking the chance to come to Europe alone was something I never imagined doing. I'm absorbing everything and have learned so much about myself in the process

I can teach English and French! My French is a little rocky now though because I don't use it much where I'm currently living in Canada. I'm working on learning Italian right now
