I am 21 years old living in Vienna – the city I grew up in and which I have learned to love, though I am not thinking of staying there forever. I’ve been travelling a lot, often in Europe but also in other parts of the world. I love how travelling makes you feel loosely disconnected with the world while at the same time being in exchange and touch with people and things around you. I love how travelling leaves it up to you to stay a stranger, unrecognised observing places with a distant smile, or to get to know people, sharing their life for a short – and often intense – while and maybe staying in touch, calling one another “friends”. I love how your own views and beliefs are being questioned whenever travelling; confronting yourself with other people’s opinion and way of life. I love not to plan a trip too well, leaving space for welcomed surprises…

Interests

What I enjoy in life:
Early morning sun, the smell of coffee in the morning, freshly cut grass, damp wood, salty sea wind; bridges, night trains, sharing wonderful moments with friends and strangers, feeling carried away by some beautiful phrases in a book, the light uncertainty of not (yet?) knowing your journey’s destination, the sun warming your soul, piano tunes, the sea, walking barefoot in the grass or in the sand…
