Hi everyone!
We are two girls from Copenhagen, Denmark, who wants to stay with you! Amalie is 23 years old and Clara is 22 years old. Amalie is studying textile design at independent production school in Copenhagen and Clara is studying journalism at Danish School of Media and Journalism in Aarhus, which is the second largest city in Denmark. We have known each other since 2011, where we met in high school (it is called gymnasium i Denmark), where Amalie was on the second years and Clara was on the first year, because Amalie is one year older. We have travelled together two times before. First, three weeks around western Europe in 2013 and the year after that; one month around eastern Europe. Amalie lives in her own apartment in Amager, which is a big island connected to Copenhagen city, together with her cousin. Clara lives in Aarhus in the other end of Denmark (Jutland) with a roommate. Amalie is together with her boyfriend, Laurits, through many years. He lives in Berlin. Clara is single and ready to mingle ;-) We have a big interest in music, feminism, philosophy, journalism and medias, dancing, partying, traveling and generally: learning new things and meeting new people. We are VERY social and both of us love to talk for half (or all) the night, drinking wine and smoking cigarettes. We're looking forward to meeting you!

We are on couchsurfing because we love to meet new people and get new friends all over the world. We believe, that meeting new people and understanding where they come from and how their culture works, makes us better and smarter people, who can act more democratic in this world. We believe, that we become better persons from learning how other people (especially people from other countries) think, live and act. As well as traveling is very giving, couchsurfing is too. The whole concept of couchsurfing is super cool, democratic and warm. It is just an all around good idea. A win-win for everyone. Besides that, it is a perfect way to save money and seeing the cities you visit from a local person's point of view. We have done it many, many times and we love it! (This profile is new, because we wanted to start fresh, because our old profile is four years old)

Amalie has been travelling a lot outside Europe, in Australia and Asia for example, which was amazing. She has been in a music video for a danish upcoming star and she has participated in several musicals.

Clara has been writing manuscripts for three different musicals, and has once saved a woman's life, who tried to commit suicide. She has been singing and dancing for years and participated once i a music video and performed in one of Denmark's biggest theatres.
