ABOUT ME

I`m a 24-year-old Scot, shortly going back to uni in Glasgow to do teacher training and become a Spanish and French teacher.
I like to travel, particularly South America, and have lived abroad in Lyon, San Sebastian (pais vasco), Paris and Osorno (Chile).
I prefer to discover a country via volunteering, like WWOOFING (working on organic farms) or working with charities, e.g. ones that go to disaster zones, but if I can`t, backpacking is good.

Soy escocesa, tengo 24 años, y ahora en agosto vuelvo a mi pais para estudiar pedagogia, para ser profe de frances y español. Me gusta viajar, sobretodo en Sudamerica, y he vivido en Lyon, San Sebastian (pais vasco), Paris y Osorno (Chile). Prefiero conocer un pais a traves del voluntariado, por ejemplo WWOOFing (trabajando en el campo) o Un Techo Para Chile (construyendo mediaguas), y si no puedo, turisteando no mas.

Travel, reading, dance, camping, trekking, hitchiking, learning new stuff. I was in Chile for February`s big earthquake; after it I travelled to the epicentre and in several different villages helped build emergency housing. I`ve also done WWOOFing, where I discovered that food in fact comes from the ground, and nature, and does not originate in the supermarket.

Viajar, leer, bailar, acampar, hacer trekking, hacer dedo, aprender cosas nuevas. Estuve en Chile cuando ocurrio el terremoto en febrero, y despues viaje al epicentro para ayudar en la construccion de mediaguas de emergencia. Tambien he hecho WWOOFing, voluntariando en una granja organica, donde aprendi muchisimo acerca de la tierra y como se trabaja... bkn.
