ABOUT ME

I have lived all my life in Singapore which is a tiny island country located at the southern tip of Malaysia (BTW: it is by no means part of malaysia. It is a gorgeous, very manmade/manicured Island with plenty of highrise buildings and planted trees--> you can ask me more abt tt)
I speak English, Mandarin, studied 3 semester of Thai (which I have mostly forgotten), un petitpeu français and VERY basic Malay (just enough to order food and ask for the price) . I am fun loving, and outgoing and I absolutely adore outdoor activities.
I am also a tea addict and can get pretty grouchy without my morning caffeine. hahah, you have been warned :S

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe Diem! Especially before any sickness/osteoarthritis strikes (I had a busted knee/ankle from sports and occasionally on rainy days, they remind me they're there :()

Couch surfing seriously rocks. You meet people from everywhere and really learn about their lifestyle, cultures etc. As the saying goes "the world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page"

Interessen

Swimming, cycling, diving, wakeboarding, trekking, canoeing. Basically all outdoor activities except running. Running is torturous. :S Having said tt, I would like to run my first marathon before I'm 30.
I also like baking and experimenting with recipes.
And of course, travelling. Bitten badly by the travelbug.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I actually love children books. Diana wynne jones, Garth nix, Johnathan stroud, Patricia c wrede and Enid blyton are some of my favourite authors. I have recently read Ender's game by Orson Scott Card and am addicted to the whole series now!
I like slower/chillout musics by Ingrid michaelson, Sara bareilles, Adele , ZeeAvi etc.
I also love disney songs: they make me happy

Diving. It's just so amazing, the feeling of weightlessness and the silence and calm you feel when your are underwater. Gorgeous colours, amazing fishes. Truly addictive.
