There's nothing I enjoy more than meeting new people. I'm a fairly animated person and its common for my voice to raise a couple octaves if I'm excited on a subject, person, or dance move. I love getting a chance to frolick about town getting into shenanigans, or spending days outside promenading about nature. Im currently voyaging around Europe, spending most of my time volunteering for room and board, but it be nice to check out some areas while i am on the mainland.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started doing Couchsurfing at my university house as a way to continually meet new people from all aspects of life. It has been awhile since Ive done couchsuring, but now that i am traveling again it be nice to meet locals. Couchsurfing has been such an awesome addition to life! I love getting to meet fellow travelers with the greatest stories about all the places they've been or want to go. It's such a wonderful opportunity for cheap traveling and getting to meet some truly spectacular people.

Interests

i'm a big fan of ancient history, and i love reading (both for school and funsies). i like music, especially singing and dancing to it, baking far too many deserts, movies with whimsy in them, having fun nights out, and frolicking in nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

my favorite books of all time are the harry potter novels. and the hobbit. i reread these almost every year, or every other year in sequence. in more mature novels i doubt i could be a bigger fan of vonnegut, as i haven't meet a book of his i haven't loved. also steinbeck and foer are some of my favorite authors. and of course i love geeking out to primary sources: the bacchae, prometheus bound, the histories, the epic of giglamesh, you know...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

aaaaaah so many! the taj, stonehenge, swimming in the atlantic at the end of november at sunset. i've had a beautiful life thus far and could not be more pleased.
