About Me
Hello!
I am from the huge São Paulo, Brazil, and in March I start my great trip around the Middle East! I just graduated in International Relations - my field of research involves some middle eastern countries - so I have an inherent passion for this area in particular, some knowledge and a huge willing to learn more! About its history, its multiple cultures, peoples, foods, and ways of living, and obviously its beautiful sights. Meeting locals and making friends in the region would be a great plus to my trip! I love having connections all over the world.
Additionally I have some hobbies: I was a ballet dancer for about 10 years and like learning new styles, I love almost all kinds of music - especially getting to know local music from the places I visit -, I like hiking, riding a bike and simply exploring new places, with fun people. Also I love animals, so if you have any pets I'd also make great frinds with them :D
I am not a smoker, but I have no problem in sharing a place with smokers.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm at couchsurfing to make friends with locals, experience real daily life from the countries I visit and connecting - might be through cooking together, going for a walk in your neighborhood or whatever you like (and I can't lie that the saving money part is a plus).
Unfortunately I could never host anyone in my hometown yet, since I always lived in shared places with no free space whatsoever and some prohibitions. That's about to change after I return to Brazil, so I'll be glad to host you or your friends in my family's place (which is near the international airport, by the way!) to experience life
with a brazilian family and our friendly dogs and cats :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I can't even name all the music styles I listen to, but mostly it goes from all kinds of Rock to samba, MPB, cumbia, reggaeton, blues, reggae, classical music from different places and a lot more. I'll just love whatever authentic music you introduce to me so if you also love music we'll get along pretty well.
My favorite movie ever is called "Incendies", by Villeneuve - if you never watched it go do it right now!
I also like history books and novels, but I admit I don't read that much since college readings consumed most of my time until now.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning anything new. Seriously! It's never too much to know more things, whether it's about a language, cooking, learning history, or whatever we can share.
I'd love to learn a little bit of Hebrew, Arabic or Turkish and greet you in your own language :) In exchange, you can learn some Portuguese for the next time you show up in Brazil! Or we can simply practice English so you can improve.
I believe anyone has something to share and pass on to others, and we can always give people something positive and leave people with a little more than when we first met. Even just a nice conversation and exchanging stories is enough.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Some of my skills I can share with you:
- English, Portuguese and Spanish knowledge;
- Photography (I can teach you basic skills or even give you or your business a short photoshoot);
- Vegan food recipes we eat in Brazil (although I'm not strictly vegan - they're just delicious);
- Some dance moves or a streching session which is great as a daily routine;
Finally, I can share a place to stay in São Paulo, the biggest and most dynamic city in Brazil and South America where all kinds of cultures meet, whenever you are there!
