About Me
Hello friends, :)
My name is Clara, I live in France and I'm studying social sciences in the Eastern European Campus of a french institute of political studies.
Wanderlust is my motto. I like going around discovering new cities, new countries and new cultures. I'm always willing to listen to stories! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've already host many foreigners students with the exchange program Comenius. I would like to continue this experience by hosting people who are willing to discover France. I like to get to know new cultures by myself thanks to the people I host. :) Unfortunatly at the moment I can't host anyone because I live in a very small place but I'll be glad to meet up with you! :)
Also, I would love to travel across Europe and see new countries and the best way to understand a culture is to meet locals (couchsurfers, I'm counting on your knowledge ;) )
Interests
Art; painting and drawing (especially with watercolors), photography (I'm looking for models if you are interested! ;) )
Music; (I'm learning how to play the ukulele) and I love going to concerts and festivals

Music, Movies, and Books
From Louis Armstrong, to the Beatles, to Rachmaninoff, I have a very wide range of music taste. I also listen a lot of rock, indie rock and electro.
My favorite writers are Hugo, Orwell and Camus.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went alone three month in a exchange program in Riga (Latvia) when I was 14. Since then, I've never stopped travelling.
When I was 18, I spent a month travelling in Ukraine to make a project : Ukraine's faces and make portraits of Ukrainians. You can see it online here: visagesdukraine.fr but I will gladly tell you more about it when we meet! :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I love showing the best part of the French culture! From the new hipsterish kind (french electro, art), to more classical (Edith Piaf, french painters, Hugo's literature)...
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can and I would LOVE to cook for you or teach you how to cook french food since cooking is my "peché mignon". You'll get the best recipes as they come from my dad who is a chef.
