Hi, I'm Clara!
I'm from Austria, France and Germany and have also lived in Spain. I travel a lot intranationally to and from my workplace, but international travel is what really gives me butterflies. I love hour-long talks over a multiple-course meal (must be my french side), sewing, puns and toda... tomorrow I'll also start exercising again. I have a little brother who is finishing school this year and is passionate about space travel. My next projects are a wine-tasting course, a cooking class, moving out, taking up dancing and participating in the spartan race.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined a few years ago but I never got around trying it out. Now I'm planning my solo-trip to London and it seems like the perfect opportunity! Can't wait to meet ya'll.

Music, Movies, and Books

My absolutely favorite musician right now is Paolo Nutini, he's a scottish singer. I also like Parov Stelar (austrian, electro-swing), Elle King, Tim Dup, Janelle Monae, Amy Whinehouse, Manu Chao, Jain, The Avener and so many others.
My favourite artist is Jean Jullien, I love how his simple images are so creative and fun. I also like Justina Blakeney, she's an interior designer following the bohemian style.
I don't have favorite ones, but I like movies that give you something to think about. The last movie I watched was "third star", where Benedict Cumberbatch plays a guy that has an uncurable cancer and wants make one last trip with his friends.
For books it's the same- although I have read Harry Potter more than 9 times and I can't say that about any other book.
