ABOUT ME

Working as a Journalist in Berlin. Moved back a few years ago, after living in Vienna and then Beirut. Now here with my husband, transitioning from Student life to working full time. It's more challenging than I was expecting! Still love the spontaneous way of life, when it allows. And love meeting new people from all parts of the world.

PHILOSOPHY

You only live once, and not in the yolo kind of way. Why live a life you don't like, thinking you'll spend all your later years enjoying what your hard work earned? Enjoy life now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couch surfing has got to be the easiest, coolest and most interesting way to get to know people on the road. Also, I'm poor, so there's that!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading the newspaper. My favorite book is "Was man von hier aus sehen kann". And I only recently saw Forrest Gump for the first time (embarrassing, I know) - but I loved it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Eloped it Turkey during one of the Corona-Lockdown, with all our friends and family on Zoom.
