About Me
Hello there! It's kind of difficult to write about yourself but I'll give it my best try. I'm a friendly, open-minded person who loves reading and traveling. I enjoy being out in the nature, but (being born and raised in a big city) I'm very fond of taking advantage of all the things a big metropolis has to offer, be it street markets, coffee houses, museums, parks, etc. I haven't figured out what I want to do yet, besides studying philosophy, but I think I'm getting there. In the meantime , I'm trying to get my degree while working part-time and I'm also a volunteer at AFS Intercultural Programs.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I find myself traveling from time to time and I usually stay over with friends or acquaintances, however there are some places I have never been to yet and in which I don't personally know anyone (yet) . I regularly host exchange students at my place and the experience has been almost always wonderful, therefore I figured out that I wasn't such a bad idea to do it myself :)

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite book so far has got to be "The princess bride" by William Goldman. Other books I'm in love with: "Rayuela" (aka Hopscotch) by Julio Cortázar ( anything written by Cortázar actually), "To kill a mockingbird" and Murakami's "A wild sheep chase". Movies I don't mind watching over and over again: Submarine (the one with the Alex Turner Soundtrack), Trainspotting, The life aquatic.
As regards music, some of the bands I listen to the most are The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Interpol, Soda Stereo, The Pillows, Editors, The Wombats, The Shins, Modest Mouse.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Learn German! Seriously, it's no easy feat. And I'm only halfway done, but I'm getting there.
