Hi guys!! I am a fun loving human trying to satisfy that travel bug. There are so many places I want to see and adventures I want to have, not to mention so much food I want to eat!

I don't have any references because I haven't couchsurfed yet, but give me a chance I swear I am cool!

A little about me. I am 23 years old and I graduated college in 2016 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and after a 3 week trip to Ireland I have been doing the adult thing ever since. Now it is time for some more adventures!

I am a bit of a fitness nut and I really love to be outside whether it is running, hiking, playing sports, or even just going for a walk. I am incredibly active and love anything athletic. I love the finer things in life too, however. I play three instruments, piano, guitar, and ukulele, and I really love to craft; painting and drawing are my favorite. When I have downtime I like to read, because let's face it I'm a giant nerd, but I also enjoy some good Netflix binging because I am still human. If you didn't believe me on the giant nerd thing, I majored in engineering because I love math and I am also obsessed with Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Lord of the Rings.

I also love to cook! And I love to eat even more!! Seriously, food. Yes. I do drink; I am a sucker for a nice craft beer or mixed drink and I am working on liking wine. I enjoy going out with new friends and old friends for food and drinks and laughs!

My family and my friends are my entire world. I am close with my mom and my younger brother, and I have some pretty cool and goofy friends. I also have a boyfriend who loves to travel and supports my adventures!

At first I might seem a little shy, but I am actually very outgoing once I meet you and traveling alone is something I am super excited to do so I can meet tons of new people, gain some confidence and broaden my horizons!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am new to couchsurfing but I think it is a budget friendly way to travel and meet new people! Getting a place to stay while also meeting locals is the best way to immerse myself in the culture of wherever I am visiting and get tips on all the cool stuff to see and all the cool food to try.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music. I am willing to give anything a try! I like nerdy movies like Star Wars and Harry Potter and I also love Pirates of the Caribbean. I love a good scary movie but I can't watch them by myself. I love adventure books! The Eragon series and Harry Potter are some of my most reread books and the Kingkiller Chronicles are also a good example of the style I like.

I went skydiving! The next amazing thing I'm doing in embarking on this solo travel adventure!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am willing to learn and I want to see everything I can when I am traveling! I won't have a lot to offer a host besides my time and a friendly personality but I will happily cook for you and do my best to be a funny companion!
