About Me
I am on a journey...well the whole of life is a journey but at the moment I am travelling too. I have been bouncing from Sydney to Donegal, Ireland for years with various adventures in between including visiting eco villages Findhorn in Scotland, Damanhur in Italy and living at Tamera Healing Biotope in Portugal for seven months last year.
I spent a month early this year in India and three months in Nepal focussing on mind training through discipline, meditation and mantra while living in a Tibetan Buddhist Monastery in Nepal and trekking the Annapurna Circuit into the Himalayas as a walking meditation.
Now the journey continues....
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have joined couchsurfing because during my travels I have heard a lot of people talking about it and how it is a great way to connect with local people.
I am a solo traveller and connecting with locals sounds much better to me than checking into a hotel!
Unfortunately I cannot accept guests at present as I have been travelling for some years and have no fixed residence but should I settle somewhere, someday, this is a favour I would very much like to return.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music...too diverse to list! Tori Amos would have to be my favourite but I love everything from classical to alternative rock to folk to singing bowls depending on how the mood takes me.
Books that have travelled throughout the years with me include The Essential Rumi, Siddhartha, The Road Less Travelled, a good book is a mighty companion.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I recently spent four months in India and Nepal immersed in meditation, mind training and changing behavioural patterns, including trekking the Annapurna Circuit up into the Himalayas as a walking meditation.
Teach, Learn, Share
Professionally my background is in Natural Therapies and Project Management. I love sharing knowledge on natural medicine including herbal medicine, nutrition, homeopathy and body therapies. Recently I spent some time in a Tibetan Buddhist monastery studying Buddhism and love to engage in conversation around spirituality.

Wholistic health advice, nutritious meals, I completed my Permaculture Design Certificate in 2015 at the Findhorn community in Scotland and love to get into the garden! also I LOVE animals and am always very happy to share space with dogs, cats, reptiles....
