I am a 40 year old woman who is currently chnging careers. Prior to this I worked at a university then in sales. I am currently pursuing French language study and applying for Masters programs. I have time to travel until the end of the year and I would like to solidify my French. I took french in high school and university and currently organize a weekly French Meetup (Parlez Français) in NW.

I travelled to France last year and my love for its language and culture exploded. I had always been a francophile but I am now completely in love with all things French. It is my hope to be able to travel to smaller cities as well as larger ones as I am more of a country person.

Music: I enjoy rap and hip hop (old and new), 70's soul and funk, ambient, and lots of French music of all types.
Books:I love fantasy, sci fi, popular psychology, science and nature as well as trashy pulp. Also obsessed with PG Wodehouse.
Movies and TV: Buffy/Angel, Farscape, All Hail King Julien, Spooks/MI5, Lucifer, Poirot! Love anything not too gory.

I took care of my uncle with Alzheimer's for three and a half years and it was AWESOME. It absolutely changed my life and my priorities but it also made me a good cook and way more into gardening than before. We had an amazing time and for the vast majority of time it was like the happy/sweet parts of any movie about someone with Alzheimer's.
