I'm from the UK and currently teaching in Thailand, but I am on my way home to England soon and travelling just a little bit first. I love to go out to dance, try new food and explore cities especially. So just like most people travelling I guess!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best way to explore a new place is with someone who knows the area and it will enrich the whole experience. I'm going to Tokyo at the end of August and would love to make the most of it by meeting someone who is interested in letting strangers into their world, or just wants to hang out for a little while.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite music is terrible motivational girly music like Little Mix, Miley Cyrus and Blackpink, but I try not to inflict that on anyone. I also love Maximo Park, Sigrid, Haim, Amy Winehouse, Tame Impala and lots of other things.

I like movie trivia and being unnecessarily critical of films. Some of my favourites are Silver Linings Playbook, Forrest Gump, Me, Earl and the Dying Girl, The Blues Brothers, Pulp Fiction, Se7en.

I am one of these awful people who doesn't really read fiction. I am still using the excuse that I read too much for my Literature exams and need to take a break, but that was 8 years ago now.
