My name is Clarissa but my friends call me Clare. I am a student at the University of Kansas (U.S.), 22 years old, I'm studying graphic design and strategic communications.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm living in Dublin, Ireland for the summer doing a graphic design internship! So far, I'm loving it. I'll be traveling on the weekends and for a couple weeks after the internship is over. I'm excited to learn about other cultures and explore the world! I'm not a fan of the tourist attractions unless there is a historical or artistic pull. I want to know what the local people enjoy, where they eat, where they dance, where they sit down for conversation. I want to understand the world, not just see it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like EDM but I was brought up on American jazz and 1980's punk rock. I enjoy alternative music and indie, and reggae/ska has a special place in my heart. I love the movies Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind and The Red Violin.
