I am a nature & adventure loving South African. I've just completed my honors degree in Cape Town, South Africa, and am spending the first half of 2018 learning more about what I love - and of course having some fun along the way.
I am starting with an internship in La Paz, Mexico for January. Afterwards, I plan to travel through Central and South America, ending in Chile in May/June.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I completed my university in Cape Town - which is one of the biggest "tourist" cities in South Africa. While living there, I discovered so many beautiful and different places that really made me fall in love with the city. This taught me that exploring a city with locals really offers a unique experience.

I also love meeting like-minded people, and after using Couchsurfing in Romania and Hong Kong, I love the community of open travelers on this platform.

Lastly, although I am finished studying, I have not started earning a salary and so any help to make travelling affordable is much appreciated :)

I enjoy most music; especially jazz, hip hop & some EDM. I love arty movies and all books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent four years at an International School in Accra, Ghana - the students in my class that represented over 30 different nationalities. My family travelled around West Africa, and one of my favourite memories is riding camels in the Sahara desert near Timbuktu.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I grew up in Johannesburg and Accra, and went to university in Cape Town. Besides this, my family and I have travelled widely in Southern and West Africa and I would love to share these experiences memories. I have also travelled internationally, both alone and with my family and can share these memories and my advice :)

I love being in nature - I can share this passion and sense of adventure with all those I meet.

I speak fluent English and can definitely help anyone who is learning.

Also, you will have a friend to visit if you ever decide to visit South Africa!
