Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started using CSing while living abroad. I couchsurfed many places while living in Georgia and felt very welcomed being a foreigner and meeting locals and now that I am home I would like to return the favor. I know many great local places in San Francisco and the surrounding areas and if you catch me at the right time you might just be lucky enough to experience it.

Interests

I really love being outdoors and exploring. Camping, hiking, running, sports, and cycling. I would love to explore every city possible by bicycle, it is my favorite form of transportation. Motorcycles come second.

I love to have fun, to dance, to make a fool of myself in public, and enjoy the company of like minded unserious people.

And I love art. I can spend all day in museums and galleries, I love to make my own stuff, mostly on Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, but can also do a kick ass portrait on paper. And I love to teach people to draw as well!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is one of biggest obsessions. I am always looking for new music and have recently started to learn to make my own music using Ableton. I love anything I can dance to, even if it is stuff like Lady Gaga or Britney, as long as it is upbeat. I like indie-rock, electronic pop stuff, hip hop and 80's stuff. The Cure, The Smiths, My Bloody Valentine, New Order, Fugazi, Depeche Mode, Crystal Castles, Calvin Harris, The Knife...

I like Sofia Coppola, the Cohen Brothers and Wes Anderson and lots of other stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I drank homemade fermented camels milk bought from a babushka in a village after it had been sitting out in the sun all the hot day, without getting sick.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you some tricks on Photoshop and Illustrator. I can teach you how to cook greasy american food. I can teach you about some good music if we have similar tastes. I can also fix bicycles pretty well :) I make good pancakes.

I would love to learn more about making music, drawing and using Adobe. I if you are passionate about something I am unfamiliar with chances are I would be interested in learning more about it.
