Hi, my name is Clare and I'm from Ireland. I'm currently working as an English teacher at a middle school in Daejeon, South Korea.

I'm an easy-going person and a non-smoker. I love meeting new people, sharing my stories and hearing theirs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couch surfed in Korea in 2010. My Korean friend and I stayed with English teachers, and that's what sparked my curiosity about teaching in Korea. I also hosted a few Couch surfers when I lived in Busan. Unfortunately my current apartment in Daejeon is too small to comfortably host guests, but if I have a bigger apartment in the future I would love to host again. These days I'm looking for Couchsurfing opportunities while I'm on my travels.
