Overview
About Me
Location on map is not correct: we are between Ainazi and Salacgriva on the bank of the Salaca river.
CURRENT MISSION
country life and healing people through herbs/food/mineral balancing so the innate healer inside us all can do the work.
ABOUT ME
I am a Floridian who ended up in Latvia (thanks to meeting a Latvian in Spain 15 years ago). Edgars, Ozols (6) and I live in the middle of the woods near the Salaca river. We do all that kinda country stuff;) Growing/preserving our food, wild crafting, herbalism, building, animal husbandry (chickens, pigs, horses, ducks ) ETC ETC We do all kinds of crafts from snowshoes to drums to medicine. Our bread maker is our weaving supply business where we make the tools from the very cutting of the tree down till a beautiful finally finished weaving shuttle.
Before we put our roots down and created endless projects, Edgars and I have both traveled a lot. We met on the road too. Now we host volunteers and travelers at our house.
PHILOSOPHY
"...everything in creation exists within you, and everything in you exists in creation. you are in borderless touch with the closest things, and, what is more, distance is not sufficiente to seperate you from things far away..."kb
