ABOUT ME
I am a friendly and welcoming person who loves to meet new people, share stories and have a good chat! I like to try new things, embracing change and new experiences. I have recently returned to the UK after living in Bangladesh and I am now a freelance consultant, focussing on climate change research. At the moment my work is focussed on Myanmar. I am on the move a lot but ultimately based in Warwickshire, where I live on a small farm (couchsurfers welcome!). I love being out in the countryside, relaxing and taking in the fresh air, but also embrace the vibrancy of cities. I am sure I will be moving back to the city soon enough, hopefully somewhere with enough space for some CS guests.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My couchsurfing experiences so far have been great and I could not recommend joining the community more highly. I have been hosted more than hosting, but I hope this will change so that I can return the favour. I have found that staying with a CS host in the cities I have visited has been a great way to meet new and fun people and to experience a new place in a way that is not possible without meeting someone who knows the city. I encourage the concept of the couchsurfing community and believe it is something that should continue to grow and be embraced.
Interests
I'm in to cycling, yoga, running, exploring places, meeting people, drinking, eating, going out dancing, watching movies. I love to move around, learn about different cultures, explore new landscapes and be involved in new experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm not really a favourites person but I do love a good tune, film or book. What that is depends on my mood. I like a mixture of music and many different genres of movies. Always open to recommendations and suggestions, and always up for checking out a live act.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Visiting Lake Pangong in Ladakh. I think it was the most beautiful place I have ever visited. The changing colours of the lake and the mountains were incredible and you could see across the lake for miles. Truly stunning.
