ABOUT ME

As a silver surfer, or golden oldie, I welcome all ages! I live in the centre of town, so shops and restaurants and pubs are very close. I don't expect to cook for my surfers, but they are welcome to use my kitchen to make their own meals. I am a partner in the wonderful Totnes School of English, and our website has lots of local links about Totnes and its status as Transition Town, See www.totenglish.co.uk for more info!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met 4 delightful people in the Caribbean, just for coffee, and have hosted several people who are interested in Totnes as a Transition Town. I had three completely different and interesting hosts in Germany, and I look forward to some further surfing sometime soon!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So many: dawns and sunsets all over the world - e g overlooking Annapurna, on the west coast of France, the east coast of Mauritius, Luzern; most beautiful city, Rio; most stunning cheap journey - Star Ferry, Hong Kong; most unvisited jewel: Samarkand; most overrated city: Barcelona
