ABOUT ME

I'm originally from Sandusky, Ohio. For the last seven years I've lived in Columbus, Ohio working as a high school English teacher.

I love to travel. I've lived and worked in both the Netherlands and Indonesia. After leaving the Netherlands, but before moving to Indonesia, I backpacked around Europe for a few months. While living in Indonesia, I traveled through Vietnam and Singapore.

I spent the last two pandemic summers driving through the USA, and I started trying to learn French. My French is terrible.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that life is far more complex than we can dream to understand, and that makes it beautiful.

I couchsurfed in Finland, Belgium, and the United States. It has allowed me to meet and connect with incredible people around the world.

These are my absolute favorites, though I like stories in general.

Music: flexible. bluegrass, classical, pop.

Movies: I've seen very few movies, but I'm always up for it.
