Born and raised in Singapore, I moved to London just before I hit 30 for a new life. It's been a wild ride so far, and I'm excited for the travel possibilities that have opened up to me in this part of the world!

Traveling to me is about venturing into the unknown, hunting down the best local eats (very important), and chasing spontaneity with a little sprinkle of risk. I'll happily get lost just wandering around, and love great conversations - although I'm still working on getting people to reveal their deepest darkest secrets to me ;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So I've finally bit the bullet on the paywall - and here I am, back on CS after 3 years, and honestly... I'm pretty damn excited.

Through locals has always been the best way to get to know a place, with the incredible bonus of making new (possibly life long) friends. It's the best thing in the world, and hell do I miss it! All these years without CS of staying in hostels and hotels... ugh. I'm back now. I can't wait to travel the best way I know how to again.

I'd love to chat, get to know all about you, learn new things, hear new perspectives... or we could honestly just sit in silence and I'd really enjoy your company either way. Also I promise I am nice and hygienic... can I stay on your couch please?

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy country artistes like Luke Combs, Larry Fleet, Tenille Arts, Dan and Shay. Also a fan of anything with chill vibes or a sick groovy beat.

Not much of a movie buff but some of my favourites are Fight Club, and Goodwill Hunting. Also love a good sitcom like The Office, Friends, or classic series like Peaky Blinders and crime shows!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Caught the sunrise while in a hot air balloon in Luxor, Egypt that overlooked the Valley of the Kings and the Nile River - just about the most breathtaking sight I've witnessed in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Anything and everything in my capacity! Perhaps I can teach you some Mandarin and complain to you a little about Singapore's competitiveness and education system. I struggle to explain Singlish, but I would gladly struggle in teaching you the ways of "lahs" and "lehs" and "simi lanjiaos". I think I can also lend a pretty good hand in the kitchen!
