ABOUT ME

I'm a Scot who has been living in London since 2000. I live with my partner in South London and work in central London. I like to travel as much as possible in my spare time, and am aiming to visit every country in the EU - only one to go! I've travelled less outside of Europe, but hope to do more when time and money allow. We tend to stay in hostels and love camping. While at home, I spend much of my free time doing all sorts of things at my local theatre, on stage and backstage, play the oboe in a wind quartet, sing in a local choir, do tae kwon do, and teaching myself the guitar and ukulele!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is for enjoying :-)

And right now I'm trying to push a little outside of my usual comfort zone and try different things - couch surfing being one of them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've hosted on about half a dozen occasions so far, and really enjoyed it. We've yet to dare to couchsurf ourselves though...

Interests

Travelling, theatre, poi, camping, real ale, folk music, singing, playing various woodwind instruments and the ukulele, sewing, running, the internet, and sunshine :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't watch TV and can't remember the last time I watched a film. I also rarely read books - though I should do more often. I like to listen to music though - mostly folk and musicals - I LOVE musicals :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visiting South Africa was pretty amazing, especially seeing the wildlife there, the most special of which was being in the sea with a whale shark, and the, erm romantically inclined rhinos we stumbled upon during a game drive - you don't see that every day!
