About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Making this world a better place and dismantling these trash systems!!

ABOUT ME

I like to think I'm creative, friendly, and open-minded. I'm studying Global Environmental Change & Sustainability and Public Health in Baltimore currently. I'm originally from Bloomington, IN, and have enjoyed the art, music, and international culture there. I'm most passionate about changing our food system in a meaningful, intentional way that gives the land back to those who it has been taken from. Working towards collective liberation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new folks and listening to the stories they want to share with others. I think that it is amazing that there are wonderful people all over the world who keep this system of couch surfing alive -- sometimes it's nice just to have a place to crash, or a temporary home. Either way, I think the radical softness that is entailed in couchsurfing is something I would like to uplift in my practices.

Music, Movies, and Books

always changes, but oh my gosh please please please listen to Mitski. I admire and love her music dearly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can't say that I've done so many outrageously amazing things in my lifetime, but there are smaller moments that are personally amazing to me. I work at an outdoor camp during the summers and being able to spend that time with kids to change their lives is the most important and fulfilling thing to me. One specific memory is of a caving trip we took one time, which basically consists of crawling through dark, wet, muddy places for fun. There was a certain part where there was a lot of 53 degree water that we had to essentially dunk ourselves into to move forward; some of the campers struggled with this portion of the cave that lasted for 15 minutes. But, I urged them on and encouraged them with singing, cheering, and laughter, and in the end, they had a great time. I loved being able to help them feel accomplished and tough at the end of the journey.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll teach you how to make killer dumplings and I'm down to cook any complicated recipe you find. I eat mainly vegan foods and have tried out tons of yummy veggie recipes. I love jamming out with people on the guitar. I'm always up to learn new things, whether it be about their culture, languages, food, the local area, or just hearing people's stories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Anything I have! I'm willing to help out around the house wherever needed. I'm grateful for hosts who are willing to open up their doors, so anything that I can willingly give to you is yours.
