Hi, I’m Clary and I’m from Milan, Italy. I’m 28 years old and I just graduated from my master degree in History of Art. I work in school as a substitute teacher. My dream job is working in the administrative department of a museum. I was an au pair in the United States from the 2018 to the 2020. I got there in June 2018 and I was living in the suburbs of Los Angeles. I moved to Austin in January 2019 and in New York City in June 2019 until December 2020. I totally fell in love with the United States and I’d like to travel as much as possible during my life. Also, thanks to this experience I improved my English and met new people.
I did my first road trip in September 2018. Me and other 4 girls met each other for the first time in Las Vegas and there we visited the city. We rented the car and we started our road trip the next day. I visited the Zion National Park, the Bryce Canyon, the Arches, the Four Corners Monument, the Valley of the Gods, the Monument Valley, the Horseshoe Bend, the Antelope Canyon, the Lake Powell and the Grand Canyon.
I did another road trip from Los Angeles to Austin for moving here on January 2019. I crossed California, Arizona, New Mexico and part of Texas. I lived in Austin for 5 months and I loved it! It’s a city full of young people, weird stuff (#keepaustinweird), good food and music, art, many places where you can hike. Amazing! During my time there I went to New Orleans, Dallas, San Antonio, Houston and at the Space Center. From Austin, I did a road trip in the Far West Texas and I went also to Mississippi, Tennessee and Arkansas.
I also flew back to the West Coast in March 2019 and I went to Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and back to LA. From New York I took a tour and I could visit the Niagara Falls, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal in Canada.
- the 19th US State: Maryland, I went to Baltimore and I loved it.
- the 20th: Illinois (Chicago), one of my favorite weekend trip.

- the 23rd: Connecticut, in Hartford and at the Yale University.
- the 24th: Florida, in Miami, Key West and Everglades NP
- the 25th: Virginia, in Richmond
I went to my first Counchcrash in Washington DC in October 2019 and it was a BLAST! I moved to South Carolina for 3 months during the pandemic , from March to June. I spent my summer 2020 in Vermont. I after took a solo roadtrip in Maine where I visited and camped the Acadia National Park. I also drove by New Hampshire and Massachusetts coast on the way back to NYC.

Before being an au pair I graduated at the University of Milan, in Italy. I basically took history of art, music, cinema, theatre, archeology, egyptology and others interesting classes.
After my graduation I worked for 4 months in some elementary schools as a substitute teacher. I taught Italian language, history, geography, art and music.

I love singing and music.

I also love movies and tv shows. I’ve watched so many tv shows that I don’t remember all of them. But my favorite tv shows are Game of Thrones and Grey’s Anatomy (I found the hospital in North Hill, CA). I love the musical The Greatest Showman and I love dancing and singing the Grease’s songs. I also love all of the Marvel, Disney (Star Wars, The King Lion, Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland..) and Tim Burton movies.

Teach, Learn, Share

It’s more like my life is teaching me how to live in this world. Traveling helps you to be open minded. I really like learn about the different cultures. I love food and trying new dishes. I love to share my adventures with friends. I didn’t actually know my travel buddies before doing my road trip in Nevada, Utah and Arizona. So we just met there, we shared a tent for 6 nights, a car for 8 days, a lot of fun moments and good memories. I also love to talk and talk about life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could offer nothing more than a travel buddy and why not, a good Italian dish if you allow me to make it. We could go out and you could take me around the places you know.
