On Sabbatical- yeahi after 4 years of working. Trying to find out what I want to do next. Looking forward to some travels in Italy, France and the Scandies + a long sailing trip.

always smiling, enthusiastic, open-minded, easy-going, little bit chaotic and always late (Apparently i cannot change in that part :/)
I love talking to other people. Nearly doesn't matter whom I'm talking to. I'm sure in every conversation you can learn or think about something new and see something form a perspective that you couldn't see before. And it's always worth looking beyond one's own nose. I'm eager to hear you talking about your adventures or the things that define you as a person.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Me and my sister tried couchsurfing on our interrail trip through scandinavia. Check her profile for further references (Vicky Mayer) We were really pleased about the different and interesting people we met on our way to the polar cycle.
As we were not spending a lot of time in each city- meeting somebody living there enriched our experiences about the country, its traditions and maybe also its problems. Travelling a country is nice but the spice lies in meeting and connecting with the people there. Without that you will not be able to understand the culture, even if it's just a two hours talk before you go to bed.
For me sharing with other people makes travelling worth it. You find a home even for only one night- far from home

兴趣

Music was my first love …Both listening and doing by myself.
I play the clarinet and like to sing loudly without always hitting the right note-just for the fun of it.
I like discovering new places, new landscapes and new ways of doing things. Cooking and tasting meals I haven't tried yet, is always a pleasure to me.
In between I hang out with friends, drink a cup of tea/coffee, chat about this and that and laugh a lot. In the evening I like going out (concert, bar) and dance my ass off.
I like going by bike and trekking and I am spending most of my free time to get into nature (the alps around Munich, the Bavarian lakes or the Dolomites and the Vulcans of Tenerife).
I'm also interested in literature, cinema and art.
In short my interests are too many for one life - that's the problem you can never be satisfied.

I listen to everything. From Electro, Indie, Alternative, World Music, Classic, to German Oldschool Rap. Really depends on the music group.
My favourite group at the moment is Orlowsky Trio and Moop Mama.
I really like reading but often do not have enough time for it.
I like going to arthouse cinema. Favourite movies of all time are: "Beasts of the southern wild", "Moonrise Kingdom" and many more

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In summer 2015 I was living in Nairobi and volunteering as counsellor in a Primary Schools in the slums. Experienceing pulsing Nairobi, was one of the best experiences I ever had. It was not going to Kenya for Safari but it was living in this emerging city as one of the people that go to work there every day.

I'd like to share my happiness with you by spending time in a funny conversation and enjoy ourselves. But I can also get crazy in explaining my opinion in discussions about politics, economics and serious things. I studied psychology and love talking about personality and why people become who they are.
