ABOUT ME

Coming from southern California, there is definitely a stereotype about the people there...I don't know whether that is a good or bad thing, but I know many people have commented that i'm different from other california girls...

I don't try to stand out, but i have eclectic interests and red hair so i sort of do anyway...I'm happy to try almost anything once, and do it with a smile

PHILOSOPHY

I feel that I should get out of my comfort zone and want to try as many things as possible while i know i can. Otherwise, I think having fun is great, but don't like doing anything to excess.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now, I am mooch on others' generosity. As a student, I can't always afford to stay in and explore new cities. I put my faith in locals to any city to point out great things about where they live that I might not have found otherwise. I hope to help as much as I can as a guest and someday repay the favor to the CS community!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've previously only crashed on friends' couches and repaid the favor to them, but I'm happy to try crashing on someone's couch and making friends :)

I love novels by Mark Twain...They're always subtly hilarious and I love how fearless Tom Sawyer is and how independent Huck Finn is...hence why both of the titles have "adventure" in it

I've seen people climbing horizontal rock faces, grown men dressed as pretty, pretty princesses, "Starry Night" and "Night Cafe," people helping each other, 4 friends kicking back 4 bottles of win in a night, fireflies; there's a lot to see that's good...it's not too hard to be amazed if you're ready for it

I have recently taught one adult woman to ride a bike and another to snowboard within one day...i'm patient and take joy in watching little wins happen within the learning process. My friend is teaching me to dance.
