Overview
About Me
I recently graduated from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University in May of 2018. I worked for a commercial real estate developer from June of 2015-August of 2018. After I resigned from my position in August, I decided to give Vagabonding a shot. I've always been interested in Japanese culture, and after reading Shoe Dogs by Phil Knight, I decided that Japan would be my destination of choice for my first Vagabonding experience. This trip for me is all about self-growth, openness, and getting out of my comfort zone trying new things. I will be starting my backpacking trip in Tokyo on March 1st, 2019, and will be staying in the country for 6 weeks before moving on to explore Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To experience countries and cultures in ways that a regular tourist would miss out on. I also want to meet new people who share the passion of traveling and exploring the world.
Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a fan of all genres of music. I enjoy country, oldies, rap, hip hop, etc. depending on the day. Two books that have influenced my life are Shoe Dogs by Phil Knight and The Alchemist by Paulo Coehlo.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cleanliness and a good conversation. I love to cook and enjoy learning new things. I am a neat freak so I have no problem helping with chores around the house and cleaning up after myself. I love discussing philosophy, self-discovery/self-growth, and finding out what makes someone unique.
