About Me

I'm a very shy and introverted person. I've spent my whole life trying to learn something that will help me get forward in life with very little success. A trade or an occupational skill or ability. But I still feel like I'm at square one. I'm looking to settle down in life for the long term anywhere I can get a stable job and a place to stay until I'm back on my feet. So I'm looking for someone to take me in and "sponsor" me so to speak until I can become a proper adult again and pay my own bills. Camrose and Wetaskiwin both hold no opportunity for me anymore.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Avoid sleeping on the streets :S

Interests

I like all kinds of nerdy stuff. I like programming, and reading, and learning how things work. I can play a little bass but I'm not very good.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really do consider myself a critic of film and literature. I like new movies and old, and I like to watch whatever stimulates my mind. My favorite genre's of movie would be zombie and post apocalyptic movies, along with documentary's. My favorite books, well, I read anything and everything voraciously so I have no true favorite. Though "Foundation and Earth" by Isaac Asimov would have to be the one that made the biggest impression on me. As for music, I generally hate anything and everything mainstream. I love Live Music however. But my favorite bands would have to be Motorhead, the Cure and KMFDM.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Worked in a TV studio once as a presenter slash camera man.

Teach, Learn, Share

Im a walking encyclopedia just loaded to the brim with useless knowledge. I could win trivia contests. I've got some outdoorsy bush craft skills I could teach anyone, like how to build a fire without a match, shelter etc. I've also got the more practical computer skills. I can program websites and I'm a pretty skilled graphical artist. I'm good at electronic repairs as long as I've got the right tools available. I like to play Bass and I know a thing or two on Harmonica as well.
