Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I met some inspiring people when I was traveling two years ago and love couch surfing as a way to meet people. I have found the people I meet through here are open-minded, passionate, generous, loving, and full of life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading. I grew up reading anything and everything fiction (LotR, Redwall, Harry Potter, etc) but now really enjoy nonfiction, mostly biographies of interesting people (tattoo artist, crematory operator, Malala Yousafzai). I also enjoyed The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch by Philip K Dick (sci-fi).

Gotta say my favorite movie is the recent Mad Max. Also really like Pans Labyrinth. More into short films though. I can give you so many recommendations of short films I love!

As of April '17 I'm listening to alt-J, Serge Gainsbourg, and Daft Punk, although this changes almost weekly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rode my bike from Seattle to San Diego, just over 2000 miles along west coast over the course of two months.
Hiking Moab and Canyonlands, Utah with my best friend.
Lived in France for two years.
